Kannawidan:Ylocos Festival is celebrated to commemorate the foundation of Ilocos Sur as a province.The foundation day of Ilocos Sur as a province was in 1818.
This year it is the 4th Kannawidan Festival.It's Start on January 31-February 6, a week-long Festival.This Festival was started by a Con-celebrated Mass at the Vigan Metropolitan cathedral.This festival highlighted the traditional dance,food,games,marching band competition,Miss Saniata ti Ilocos Sur,etc.This festival is celebrated to preserve tho culture and traditions of Ilocos Sur.

The 25th of January
According by the Roman Catholic Calendar, the 25th of January is the day of the Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle.While in Vigan City ,this is the day of the Feast of their patron saint, St. Paul the Apostle.
The story of the Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle is found on the Bible,New Testament:Acts 9:31.It is stated there that Saint Paul persecutes and threats the Lord's Disciples until when he became blind for three days.In Damascus,Ananias was sent by Jesus to meet Paul so that he could see again and be filled by the Holy Spirit.After Ananias meet Paul,immediately h could see again.At once he began to preach in synagogues.That is the story of St. Paul's Conversion.
Let us not just celebrate this Feast but we must also feel and Inspired by St. Paul's Conversion on this day:the 25 of January.

As we observe our societies,we can not say that it is perfect.Yes, it not yet perfect.Because some people commit mistake.On the other hand some people want to improve and build their own societies..They want to change the face of their societies into a better one.
The theme,"Magandang Samahan,Tungo Sa Maunlad At Maayos Na Lipunan" is a good theme for the Filipino Values Month Celebration.With this theme , people will think if a good relationship will improve and bring a perfect society.Yes it is again true that if we have a good relationship to our fellowmen,our society will improve and become perfect.Just imagine if we have a perfect.What do we feel?We will be comfortable and happy,right?So if we want to have a perfect society,try to built a good relationship to others.Not just a good relationship but the best relationship ever.

☺ ☺ NEW YEAR,NEW ME ☺ ☺
No one can go back and change a bad beginning.But everyone can start a new and create a successful ending. For this year 2011 i want to change and i will try to fulfill my new years resolutions.My new years resolution for this year 2011 is to be a better person than year 2010 i want to change all my bad attitudes.I would like also to focus more on my studies. Because as a graduating student,i want to have high grades so that i choose a good course to me when i will enter college.I want to have more patience, to be obedient ,to obey more other people and to be a kind person this year.I want also to earn and save money so that i can help my parents in paying my expenses like tuition fee when i will enter college and most specially i want to be a good son to my parents. I want to obey them and to say sorry for my bad deeds last year.
I can't promise to do and fulfill my new years resolutions but i will try to change to become new me. I will try my best and will do the rest.

Christmas is the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ's birth held on the 25th of December.The Catholic Church remind us to be prepared for the coming or second coming of Christ on the four Sundays of Advent. Advent is the season before Christmas. But what is the true essence of Christmas.
Christmas for me is the time to share our love and forgiveness to other people.We can share our love by means of sharing gifts or blessings to other people. Beautiful Christmas decoration are useless if we do not feel the true essence of Christmas which is love. Christmas also reminds us to forgive our enemies. Let us forgive and forget. Christmas also reminds us that we must be prepared or have hope for the second coming of Christ.We must be prepared by means of going to the church to attend mass and to have a confession at least once a year. We must not just celebrate Christmas but we must feel the true essence of Christmas which is love and forgiveness.

☺ ☺ MY TEN DAYS VACATION ☺ ☺
10 Days or 1 week and 3 days.These 1 week and 3 days is my semestral break:the end of first semester and the start of second semester. How did i spend my semestral break ?
I spent my semestral break not so happy and not so sad. Why ? Because on the first day of my vacation i feel pain in my left ear. I feel this pain in the early morning of Saturday October 23 until Friday October 29. On October 25 Barangay and SK election we went to the voting center. After that we went to the doctor to have a check up o my left ear. His finding: my ear is infected and the eardrum is very red in color. So the doctor give me medicine.
October 30, Saturday afternoon we went to the cemetery to clean and paint the tomb of our departed relatives. November 1, all saints day we went to the cemetery to offer flowers candles and most specially our prayers to them.
That is how i spent my 10 days vacation or semestral break.

''My Teacher,MY Hero''
School is considered as our second home because,we spent many hours in staying in the school a day.The teachers are also considered our second parents because they teach us and care us when we are inside the school.
My mother i my first teacher because she first teach me a simple word, Mama or Papa. She teach me in how to count and have a GMRC.School nourishes what we have learn in our home.They add knowledge and more learning to us.The major function of a teacher is to teach a particular subject or topic.They are considered as a hero.They are hero because they make a sacrifices in order to make a intelligent and to make us a better person in the future. Being a student in computer, I gain more knowledge on how to use and manipulate the computer.I've learned the internet,on how to use it very well.The internet time line,internet services and tools namely e-mail,WWW etc.The different internet services and tools.How to create blog account and the page address.These are some of the many lessons that I have learned.

'Pangalaga ng wika at kalikasan, wagas na pagmamahalan ang kailangan'
The theme for the celebration of the month of the national Language is "Pangangalaga ng wika at kalikasan,wagas na pagmamahalan ang kailangan". In our history,President Manuel L. Quezon gave an order that tagalog will be the National Language of the Philippines.He is the Father of our National Language.
The theme is not only centralized for our National Language but also for our nature.It means that if we care for our Language and nature,a great love is needed. Great love to each other can do anything.If we have care for our Language we must use it proudly and we must patronized it.Our nature must be love also.We all know that the effect of global warming is here and causing a great doubt to us human being.We must make a great solution for this great problem.We must have unity to each other. Love our National Language and our nature.

Sa pagkaing Wasto at Tapat, Timbang ni Baby, katapat
"Sa pagkaing wasto at sapat,wastong timbang ni baby ang katapat",is the theme of the July nutrition month celebration.
For me,in literary meaning,it means that if there is a right and enough food for baby its weight will be right.Right and enough food as many source,the Go,Grow and Glow foods or just in the food pyramid. In order to get all of these,there must be a good source like the vegetables,milk,rice,fruits,meat,fish,egg and etc.We must eat properly.We must follow the advices and suggestions of the nutritionist.We must have a balance diet meal everyday.
We must all do these in order to achieve a right weight for us.Health is wealth.

I would like to congratulate you for your victory for the last May 10 election. Sir,I know that you are moderately addicted in smoking.Smoking can kill you softly and silently.As the president of the Republic of the Philippines,you must avoid and stop smoking.As a model and a politician,you will be the first one to avoid stop it.
Graft and corruption is the biggest problem of our country.We all know that the past administration is full of problem.I don't want that your administration will be the same like the past administration.I suggest that you must remove all the official that are corrupt in the government.You must do all your promises.God bless you.
